THE RED CROCS FUNDS. Press Association—Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received i.o p.rn.) London, August 30. The Meat Trade’s Rod Cross funds amounted to .£90,000. The committee is offering the original of Kitchener’s letter cabloil on March 16, or one thousand guineas, as a prize to the nearest guesser of the number of marriages and births in England in 1916. There are other prizes amounting to £•600. The Meat Traders are providing the prize money, one giving £IOOO lor a competition which will he open to Australia and Mew Zealand, the shilling for entrance fees to go to the fund.
