An Italian communique states: Mo gained ground north-east oi Cauriol* and stormed strong trenches on the northwestern slopes of the Punto del Forame, in the Felizon valley. GERMAN SHIPS CONFISCATED. Rome, August 30. The Government has decided to confiscate all German ships interned in Italian harbors. ENEMY ATTACKS REPULSED. (Received 10.55 a.m.) Rome, August 31. An Italian communique states: Wo repulsed attacks in the Upper Posina and Astico Valleys. The enemy intensely bombarded our new positions! at Gauriol. The enemy is trying to consolidate in the Gorizia-Carso areas.
