A Russian communique states: We repulsed enemy attacks on the Upper Sereth and Bystritza, and captured Panker Mountain. Our troops are twenty-five to thirty versts from the Hungarian frontier south of Lake Ximrodzhel. The Turks retired at the entrance of Bitliss Pass.
