Wireless despatches from Berlin strongly indicate that Austro-Ger-many believed that Romania as their ally to the last. The shock of Roumania's entrance into the war was shown by the wild accusations of bad faith by the King and Government. The Teutons evidently thought that the Roumanian statesmen were all on their side. It is reported from Berlin that fighting on the Roumanian frontier has begun by Roumanian attacks in the direction of Voeroe, Sturony Pass, Kronstadt; and Hermannstadt. German sorces report that the Roumanians were repulsed.
