CHARGE OF ESPIONAGE. NOTED GERMAN SPY ON HIS TRIAL. (Received 1.15 p.m.) Berne, August 28. Herr Somer, Wolff’s Agency representative in Switzerland, will be tried at Lausanne for espionage, and also for violating Swiss neutrality. Somer came to Switzerland immediately the war started and organised a German propaganda in the principal Swiss towns, and later became a chief spy, bribing Swiss, subjects to travel to England and France for espionage.
