A communique states, Lettish batvance in the Carpathians continues. 'Stubborn lighting continues in the direction of Diarbekir. We reached the river Masladarast. Military reports claim that the recent victories knock on the head the Turkish plans around Lake Frga and ILaniadan. The advance on Persia is now no longer regarded as practical, all Turkish movements being paralysed, notably the grandiose scheme ot taking Erzermn.
