NEWS OF THE CROCKER LAND EXPEDITION. Press Association—Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received 10.15 a.m.) Washington, August 23. The Government has received word of the sale arrival at Copenhagen of Fitahugh Green, an American naval officer, on the Crocker Land Expedition, which left in 1913. Green's report makes no reference to the existence of Crocker Land, which Peary believed lie had discovered, and it does not mention whether .McMillan and others of the party are with him. The party were several times threatened with starvation.
