A German communique states: General Hiudenburg frustrated the Russian attempts to cross the Bevsian. We are still engaged with the Russians on the Stokhod. We ejected the Russians from advanced trenches eastward of the Kishe nue. There is no change northward of the Carpathians. The Archduke Carl captured the Creta heights, southward of Labie, and repulsed strong counter-attacks at Magma.
