The British steamship Normaudier reports rescuing twenty-nine ot the crew of the Italian steamship Anglo, which was sunk by a submarine in the Mediterranean, and landing them in Algiers. The Normaudier also reported sinking by some means unknown a two-towered German submarine in the Mediterranean. SUNK IN THE NORTH SEA. END OF GLASGOW CRAFT. (Received 1.5 p.m.) r London, August 11. A submarine shelled, pnd it is believed, sunk the Glasgow steamer San Bernard in the North Sea. The crew ■escaped in the boats and were picked up on August 4tb.
