A German wireless message states: Several naval airship squadrons hombed with their largest explosives and incendiary bombs the English naval bases arid industrial establishments of military importance in the coastal counties from Northumberland to Norfolk. It was a clear night, and the results were everywhere , observed. Powerful explosions occurred, at the ironworks and benzine factories in Aliddlosborough. There uvvu largi fires at the harbour establishments abJ Hull and Hartlepool. Explosives were noticed at the Tyne' yards; as well as fires in tho industrial establishment > of Whitby.
