The 1 cheese market is firmer. Canadian, white 92s to 935, colored. 925, to 945, good to fine quality, white 90s to 91s; English cheddar, 102 s to 106 s. New Zealand stocks are light, white being in small supply at 92s to 935, and occasionally 9.5 a, colored 92s to 935. At August 1 the estimated Canadian and United States cheese stocks in London, Liverpool and Bristol were 191,000 boxes, against 332,000 at the same time last year. The estimated New Zealand cheese stocks in London and Bristol are 13,500 crates, against 7250 the same time last year. i

Wool.—Merino prices are nominally unchanged, but the tone of the market is not guito so firm. Brices have slightly declined for all grades of fine crossbreds, but coarser sorts are unchanged.
