The work was uninteresting,, being mostly confined to easy pacing. Ringform badly beat Roi'ke’s Drifh over five furlongs. Oratpnu and Kingsway jumped fences. Oratonu made a good showing to the last obstancle, where be foil. Idealism and Queen’s Post went a round and a-half of the fences, giving a good exhibition. Art and Kilmeny jumped five hurdles well. Kooya is lame through falling in the paddock yesterday, and it may seem a few days’ spell. Marconi over-reached himself and cut his foot while schooling yesterday, but the mishap is not serious. A large number of horses arrived from the north to-day.
