STATE OF THE TURKISH ARMY. WITHDRAWAL OF TROOPS FROM THE BALKANS. Press Association—Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. \ (Received 9.15 a.m.) London, August 2. Mr Jeffries, writing from Athens, says the Turkish Army is now in a very bad condition, and is mutinous-ly-inclined.
' The Bulgarian Staff asked the Aus-tro-Germans not to withdraw further troops from the Balkans, . arid the Germans replied that they would only be withdrawn in case of necessity and would be replaced by Turks.
