THE TRIAL OF RUA.
JURY CONSIDERING VERDICT.
United Press Association. Auckland, August 2. Justice Chapman concluded his summing up in the Rua cases at noon. He said the outstanding facts of the march" upon Maungapohatu was that it was considered by the Government as a very serious affair. The jury had to consider the affects or seditious utterances, uttered when the Empire was in extreme peril, and when every man had been called upon for'loyalty to the King.
The jury is now considering their verdict.
