A Berlin communique states: The English penetrated Highwood, bub were driven out. We repulsed an attack on Maurepas and drove back the -French advance at Monacu farm. We 'destroyed the possessions northward of Fleury. The enemy bombed Com- • mines and other places in our rear, accomplishing important damage. Numerous civilians were victims.
