The Daily Telegraph's correspondent in Egypt states that the Turkish advance on the Suez Carial, along the caravan route, El Arish to Kantara, has reached the ridge eight miles from Romani and throe from the edge of the Katia oasis. The enemy ia esti*mated to be 12,000 strong, and they are feeling their way cautiously along a ten-mile front by night marches, hiding in tile daytime in palm groves and shallow holes covered w.th pains leaves, to escape atrial observation.
