Refugees give shocking details of the situation in Syria. The Christian population is starving. Wholesale executions and atrocities f commenced during Enver Pasha’s visit, when Djemal Pasha’s attitude to, se,.Clu% tians, became more hostile. Many villages lost a third, even half, of the inhabitants. Starvation is due to the food blockade.
