The i High Commissioner reports,:— London, July 28 (8.40 p.m.) j A wireless message received to-day .says that Captain Fryatt, of the British steamer Brussels, who was captured recently, has' been shot for [a franc-tireur crime against an armed German force. The sentence was passed on the fact that'Although Fryatt did not belong to an armed sea force, he tried to ram the German submarine U 3 near Maas Lightship. Captain Fryatt, the first officer, and the first engineer 'received gold watches from the' British Admiralty* and were mentioned in the House' of Commons. i
