The Homo Colonial Stores' Xewton banch was burglariously entered last night The intruders removed the safe to the cellar, packed it with flour in bags, and forced it open with explosives, using butter from the store to tamp the charge. It is estimated that about £l5O was stolen. lh* burglars broke two cash registers in the shop, apparently with an axe. and extracted about £1 in money.
