General Xorthey reports that on July 4th he drove the main German southern detachment from strong positions stride the Nelangenburglrinca Road at Malangali. After several strong unsuccessful counter-at tacks the enemy retired hurriedly towards Iringa, abandoning a four-inch howitzer and two machine-guns. Prior to this engage.nent we captured Dr. Sticr, late Governor of Nelnngenburg, who has since died of wounds. The majority of the Konigsberg survivors form part of the German force in this area.
