4 well-attended meeting of the Plupket Society was held on Monday 2,4 th. ' The principal business was to discuss the sending of 'Plunket parcels of baby clothes to the Polish and Galician refugees in llnssia, or to England to .the wives and children of British soldiers who have fallen. As there was some difficulty in' the way of the first plan, it was decided to go on with the parcels and send them ,to Kngland. To supply the materials for these parcels, only specially-collected funds are being used. A committee was appointed to buy and cut out the garments, jand the members would be ■,g|TO to receive, offers of assistance either in knitting or sewing, gifts of flannel, or money.
