Press Association-Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. London, July 27.
The Daily Chronicle’s Petrograd correspondent says :—General Sakharoff is advancing along the railway connection between Lemberg and Stozanow. During the week his victories have straightened the lower edge of the Lutsk bulge and brought the front on an equality with that before Tarnopol. Further surprises are hardly possible, the enemy’s vigilance being now thoroughly aroused. The Russian operations have become objects of cool, strategical, and statistical calculation.
