Many accidents, of a minor and serious nature, have been reported, and the. latest motorist to come to grief was, Mr A. Sangster. Mj- Sangster was hearing the corner of Broadway and Fenton Street yesterday, when he had. the misfortune, to be run down by'a motor car. Luckily he was travelling* at .a moderately slow pace, ; and/ths.j>impact was not Jiard enough m cause Serious damage. A Prejs Association telegram to-day states that 'Bpi -Excellency, the Governor has replied, stating that he is prepared "to v postpone affixing his signature to the, Military Ser-vjce/Bill, provided • Mr McCombs' petition reaches him in the eburse of the next day or-two. Mr F. D. Sheahan, Stratford, has been passed as medically fit for the Reinforcements.
The list of cases set down for hearing at the fortnightly sitting of the Stratford Magistrate's Court to-mor-row comprise: Fourteen civil, three judgment summons, thirteen informations against cadets for failing to attend drills four charges against juveniles . for petty thefts, one against a person for allowing a chimney to catch fire.
