PERSONAL.
It is understood that Mr E, W. Hancock, who has left Stratford,- to take up farming pursuits in the 'Cardiff district, will shortly resign' his seat on the Borough Council. Mr J. Hart who ha s been in the employ of the Stratford Electrical Co. for a considerable time as engineer in charge of the Diesel plant, has decided to resign from the Company and take up fruit-farming in North Otago. Mr Atkins, of Lower Hutt, succeeds Mr Hart.
