SCENIC BEAUTY THREATENED. Per Press Association. Wairoa, July 2J. It is reported here that a large party of Natives crossed to the west side of Lake Waikaremoaha to fell the bush. Efforts have already been made at several points on the lake to fire the bush. Jt would lie a calamity if the magnificient forest round the lake were destroyed.
