Mr Lonsdale visited the Taihape stock sale,' and said he had never

seen a better yarding for years. There was quality and size, right through. Prices were high, but the quality warranted that. The poultry constituted a record. The North Island championship in- White Plymouth Ropkß, was, won by -"Mr Wi. Cnllen, of Palmerston. North, while a similar honor in Barred Rocks was won by Mr G. Wliitingham, of Manurewa.
