Per Press, Association. Taihape, July 20. The Rangitikei Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Winter Shownow being held] in Taihape is the most successful yet experienced. The judges in every section speak in superlative terms of the quality of the exhibits. Mr Lonsdale, manager of the Momahaki State Farm, commenting ,on the field section, said the swedes Mere ahead of anything he had seen in the Dominion. The whole root section was an outstanding feature. He Said: "Country growing such crops can safely hold itself to he prominent in the farming industry." Mr Lonsdale visited the Taihape stock sale,' and said he had never
seen a better yarding for years. There was quality and size, right through. Prices were high, but the quality warranted that. The poultry constituted a record. The North Island championship in- White Plymouth Ropkß, was, won by -"Mr Wi. Cnllen, of Palmerston. North, while a similar honor in Barred Rocks was won by Mr G. Wliitingham, of Manurewa.
