There was a small attendance at the Casement trial; Dreary legal argument failed to hi) the court though the judge appeared interested in Sullivan’s delvings in old-time records. . -

The judge, came to a decision in a few minutes. Casement listened without apparent motion. He faiptly smiled and waved hig hand to some women friends who Were present throughout the trial, and finally disappeared below the dock.

it is understood Casement will appeal to the House of Lords. A petition is being promoted in hia favor. . V‘
