I have shifted my Nursery from Pembroke Road to the corner of Regan Street and Swansea Road, where a great variety of Shelter and Ornamental Trees, Shrubs, and Hedge Plants are growing, with very little shelter, less manure, an no spraying. They are as hardy as they can be, and free from couch grass and sorrel, and I can say without coasting that they are quite equal to thjse that are no better. Some 35 years’ residence >n this district has given me some ideas of its soil and climate, but I will not force them on anyone. I do not desire to make a fortune, or do an extensive business, but wish to make an honest living, without a lot of fuss, and will try to merit (and hope to receive) sufficient patronage to enable me to do so.
