Ltd., have received the following cable to-day from tin ii London Office:—“-Merino market active compared with eighth June, 3 per .cent, to f a per cent, higher, < rosshrod Igond demand for fine par 5, higher coarse par 5 lower.” At Christchurch to-day (states the Press Association), William Pollock was fined £5 for betting in the rain.
