AUSTRIAN LOSSES IN THE TRENTINO. 10,000 CORPSES BURIED BY ITALIANS. Press Association—Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received 9.15 a.m.) Rome, July 10. The Italians buried 10,000 corpses on a plateaus evacuated by the Austrians in Eastern Trentino. OFFICIAL REPORT.
The High Commissioner reports:— London, July 10 (5.30 p.m.) On the Italian front, in the region of Tofana, Alpine detachments with skill and dash captured the great part of a valley, the garrison being surrounded and forced to surrender. One hundred and ninety prisoners and *a quantity of war material were aken.
