The Times' Copenhagen correspondent states that Captain Persius, writing in the Tageblatt, says, that in veiw of the abandonment of the Declaration of London, Germany is initiating a new and reckless submarine war. A great number of submarines was available.

Press Association —Copyright, AustraAmsterdam, July 5. The Telegraaf says: The capture of the steamer Brussels was due to a spy being aboard. Supposedly, he was an American, but in reality, was a German. He made light-signale, with the result that torpedoers steamed up and stopped the ship. The Germans, on boarding her, drew revolvers and hehaved with conspicuous brutality, especially towards the women, although they were unopposed.
