THE MEXICAN TROUBLE, Press Association —Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. New York, July 4. The War Department has divided the force on the Mexican border into three divisions, commanded by Generals Funston, Pershing and Bell. The northward movement of the American expedition to the border is regarded in some quarters as preliminary' to a withdrawal, conditional : upon President Carranza agreeing to police the Northern States. The Army Appropriation Bill has been reported. ' The Senate is recommending the expenditure of £65,000,000 for the current year, more than double the amount of the original Bill.
