LABOR United Press -Association. (Received 9.30 a.m.) London, July 2. The Government is extending unemployment assurance to all branches of the munition workers. The committee of the Agricultural .Department reports it is' estimated that a third of the agricultural laborers, namely 300;000, had enlisted, and ; it is expected that only twenty-five per cent, will return after, the war. The. report issues a warnirig that it is imperative something, should -be done to swell the ranks of agricultural labour; in the meantime, producers recommend Government measures, ensuring prosperity in agriculture, and enabling the payment of minimum wages.
