" William Toswill, a Pahiatua solicit tor, who has been residing in Palme* si-on for a fortnight, was arrested yoSM torday on two charges of alleged theft of trust moneys. * HA Appealed at the IVCourt this morning. Detective Quirke said the changes ;|.g,n. ,sfi accused were that, about July 10, 1910, bo did steal £lßo, the propar y of Selina Boxall; and on July 10, 1913, hd did steal £6O, the property of Boxall.
' Detective' Quirkc said a -number of other serious charges would also be perferred against accused. r lho police applied for a remand to Pahiatua tor a week, which was granted. Bail of £2OO was allowed.
