THE DAUGHTER OF DARKNESS

{There was a fine house, \pt -His Majesty's Theatre last night, the chief attraction, being an sensational film of the "Zigomar" typo antitled "The Daughter of Darkness." The film is full of unexpected turns, including a motor-car chase, a motor smash in front of an express train, a sensational escape of a female by a rope swinging from a window, a petrol explosion, a fall from a fast travelling inotor, etc. There is a high grade list of auxiliary items. "The Metallurgy of Zinc" is an educational subject of great interest, "Topical W«r Budget" is a good number, "His Lordship" (Lubin comedy), "When Empty Hearts are Filled" (Flying "A'| drama) and "Love and Labor," (Beau T ty comedy) complete the programme. Delightful orchestral music will be provided by the H.M. Orchestra. RETURN TO STRATFORD OF L DOONE COMPANY. Allen Doone, after an absence of over twelve months, will make his reappearance in Stratford on Friday night next, June .'3O, when he will present for the first time here, a dainty play entitled Molly Bawn. This pretty play has been drawing immense audiences during their recent seasons in both Melbourne and Sydney. The vocal comedian in tins romantic play lias a congenial part which it is said he handles admirably. The piece is replete with amusing situations and sparkling Irish humor. A feature of the play is the delightful singing of Mr Doone and a host of little children who are well trained and remarkably tuneful. Some very fine costumes are worn by Miss Edna Keeley. Mr Doone wishes to announce that it is not the picture that is coming, but he and his company will positively appear. The box plan is on view at Grubb's, also day sale tickets.
