MEETING OF COMMITTEE, A meeting of the general committee of the Stratford A. and P. Association was held on Saturday afto:»oon when the president (Mr E. Jackson) ocjcupied the chair. Apologies for absence were received I from Messrs B. Orr and W. -J. Ham[blyn. MEMBERSHIP. The President, in his opening icmai'ks, strongly urged members of the general committee to secure as many new members as possible, and stated that each member of the gon'eral committee should at least en'deavour to get six new members or make themselves responsible for ensubscriptions. He himself would undertake the responsibility for enrolling twenty, as it was only by each member of the committee using bis best endeavours to further the interests of the Association that it would bold the position that it rightly should. He felt sure that if the com-
mittee, now appointed, would work with a good deal of enthusiasm, the 1 Stratford A. and P. Association would 1 hold a position second to none in the Dominion: " Each member in the room took a book of membership tickets. G E N'EH A L COMMITTEE. j The following members were elected to the executive committee: Messrs C. Jackson, J. M. Shotter, R. Dingle, A. C. Dell, W. S. Cato, H. Styles, T. Ranford, It. MoK Morison and W. J. Lopdell. MOUMAHAKI STATE FARM. 1 ' On' the' m'oiion of the' President the secretary was instructed to procure tire names of members who wished to make a visit to the Moumahaki State Farm this year.
