HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE.
the DERBY WINNER. There was a splendid house at His Majesty’s Theatre last night to witness the initial screening of the famous military and sporting drama. Drury Lane’s big success, “The Deroy Winner,” which was such a boom when Bland Holt’s Dramatic Co. played it through the Dominion some years i agoj The'play has a military strain running right ’through its various scenes." The production has a special interest to the Dominion, as Miss Eva Balfour, who is well-known in this country, has the principal part m “The Derby Winner.” The film which is 5000 feet in length, is reproduced on the same lavish scale as when first presented to a London, audience at the fame';! Drury Lane Theatre. The culminating sensation is a realistic representation of historic Ascot, which shows Lord Desborough’s horse Clifstone winning the English Derby and restores the fortunes of the Desborongh family.
