At the Transporters’ ■ Federation Conference at Glasgow, a resolution opposing Conscription was defeated by one hundred thousand votes to eightyone thousand. ANTI-GERMAN RIOTING. (Received 1.20 p.m.), r , ~ .... ‘ London, June 9. Some anti-German rioting occurred at Clerkenwell. Action was taken on the shops of alleged Germans. These were wrecked, the crowds being augiy at Kitchener’s death.
