There is a great rallying of the opposing forces and intense public interest is being niauilested in Saturuay s liquor reierendniu. Ino liquor suppoi'ters are relying mainly on expensive advertising and a poster campaign, while the ‘‘dry” party is supplementing these by means ol public and open-air meetings, many organisers from the various States and New Zealand participating. Both 'sides are splendidly organised, and the press are freely opening their columns to contributors of both colors. Some of the correspondence is decidedly strong. There is every promise ol a hot fight and an exciting finish.
