General Northey reports that the British columns crossed NyassalanU ou the German East Africa frontier on May 25th, and pursued the enemy as far as Neimtengule, capturing prisoners and stores.
General Murray, commanding the Rhodesian column, is investing the Namoma forts. The garrison sortieon June 2nd, but suffered heavy casualties, .many being taken prisoner, including the commandant, a Geiman. Native levies and carriers are demoralised and deserting. Our losses were small.
