HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. “RUPERT OF HENT7/AU.” The remark,'!hie success of the “Prisoner of Zenda.” encouraged Anthony Hope to continue- tho adventures of the principal characters in “Rupert of Hentzaig” which proved to be as popular as tlie previous work. The London Film Company has also adapted this splendid story to the screen, which was shown last night for the first time at His Majesty’s Theatre. The acting, gorgeous dresses (especially the scene following the coronation), and the mountings were on the same lavish scale as its predecessor. “The Prisoner of Zenda.” An added attraction, was presented, entitled “The Arrival and Reception of the Hero of Khartoum ’ at Sydney, the late Lord Kitchener and his staff, received quite an ovation from the audience. Other films include “The War Gazette,” “A Story of a Glove,” and “A Pretty Town in Holland.” The programme will be shown to-night for the last time. The film ol the late Lord Kitchener will be shown until Saturday night.
