Ckttkd Preps -Assoc/stio*. (Received 8.45 a.m.) London, June 8. Wlieat is steadier at threepence to sixpence advance. At the wool sales the prices for all merinos and fine crossbreds were animate at full recent rates. There was better competition for crossbreds, and prices were decidedly harder for slipes and greasies. “Fernside” top 17£d, average 16|d. “Twoheats,” 21 d and 19|d. “Ohaka,” 37£d and 28Jd. N£WTON KING’S WEEKLY REPORT. On Saturday, 3rd inst., at my Haymarket, I had a small entry of pigs, ; chiefly large stores. There was a fair i attendance of buyers present, prices 1 ruling being about par with my last ! sale, all lines being cleared at the hammer. I quote:—Wearners (small) Us to Bs, good 11s to 16s; small stores £1 2s, medium stores £1 15s, large sorts selling up to £2, sows £3 7s 6d.
