CAPTURE OF PRISONERS AND GUNS. ANOTHER BLOW AT THE TURKS. \ • Petrograd, June 7, A communique states: Successes in the region from Pripet to the Rumanian frontier continue. In addition to 480 officers and 25,000 men heretofore taken prisoners, we have captured twenty-seven guns and upwards of fifty machine-guns. We dealt a blow at the Turks near ITanniken, 130 versts north-westward of Bagdad. AN AMSTERDAM REPORT. Amsterdam, Juno 7. A Vienna communique says that on the north-eastern sector there is violent fighting on almost the whole 220 miles front. Our first line north of Oki has been flattened. We withdrew three miles southward, and repulsed several attacks in the lower Strypa region.
