A certain busybody, who dearly loves to poke a rather soiled finger into anybody's pie (when he thinks it is quite safe to do so) was holding forth on the Railway Station platform this morning on the alleged imperfections of the "Stratford Evening Post." Heaven knows we possess many faults, but it was at least ungrateful of our two-faced "friend" to embellish them, because (with many professions of affectionate esteem, most amounting, in fact, to •"come-an-'ay-a-drink") tlrs person has not infrequently, with due obsequiousness, applied at on- office for early information which lie has then given out as his special perquisite.
