TARANAKI AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY.
Record entries have been received for t lie Winter Show to be held on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday of next week. There are no less than 250 entries more than- last year, and every available inch ojj space has been applied for. The local Red Cross Society have a 2011, space and intend to make a good display of goods in aid of their cause. There will be., district courts, farm and Native, as well as numerous trade exhibits, and the Show should lie the most attractive vet held by the Society. The Citizens' Band will be in attendance each evening. The Show will be opened by the Hon. W. D. S. McDonald on Wednesday, 7th June, at 2.30 p.m. So as to facilitate the work of the stewards, exhibitors are requested to deliver their exhibits at the Hall on Tuesday, Citli dune.
