ROOSEVELT IN DANGER.
STREET INCIDENT IN KANSAS. KNIFE THROWN FROM CROWD. LDnitkd Prebb Association.^ (Received 1 ..To p.m.) New York, May 00. As Mr Theodore Roosevelt was motoring to deliver ;i speech in Kansas City favouring army and naval preparedness, a knife whizzed past him, having apparently been filing by an onlooker in the crowd. The knife struck the rear of the motor ear and was found in the street afterwards. Mr Roosevelt was unaware of the incident.
