SEVEN YEARS’ FOR ILLEGAL OPERATION. Per Press Association. Auckland, May 26. In the Supreme Court to-day Cecilia May Dowd, for unlawfully using an instrument with intent to procure abortion, was sentenced to seven years’ imprisonment.
