LOCAL AND GENERAL.
Three more cases of infantile paralysis have been reported, states the Press Association. All the patients are young children, one at Rangiwaia (near Taihape), and the others at Masterton.
Weather Forecast.—Tim- indications are for: South-casteily strong winds to gale. Heavy rain is to be expected, with rivers flooded. The weather will probably become colder. Barometer unsteady, with a rising tendency.— Bates, Wellington.
