TARANAKt RUGBY UNION. A meeting of the management committee was held in Stratford yesterday, when there were present: Messrs McLeod (chairman), Buchanan, Nalder, and Skoglund (secretary). It was resolved to support Otago and Southern motions at the New Zea-
land Rugby Union meeting in Wellington last night to suspend interest I and mortgage repayments during the period of the war., Mr M. J. Crombie was appointed Taranaki representative at the New Zealand Rugby Union annual meeting. It was resolved to invite nomina- | tions from senior cadet companies for I football teams to take part in the only ' football competition this season, nominations to close with Mr Skoglund 1 on Wednesday next. i It was decided that Eltham be a i southern division. Teams are expected to be entered as follows : Northern—New Plymouth High School (2), Technical School (1), Cadet Company (1), Waitara Cadet (1), lnglewood Cadets (1), Tariki Cadets (1), Stratford Cadets (1), Stratford D.H. S. (1); Southern— Eltham Cadet; (1), Hawera (2), Kaponga (2), Waimate and Okaiawa ('!). Clubs are asked to name colors when nominating.
