THE WINTER SHOW.
Great preparations are being made at the Coronation Hall, New Plymouth, to provide for the accommodation and effective staging of the | numerous exhibits that are expected (for the Show which opens on June 7, land continues till June 10. The Comunittee is at its wits end to make sufficient room, and it has decided to utilise the concert room for exhibits, land already, the whole of the space has been taken up. Applications aie ibeing received by every mail and from all parts of New Zealand for space, for in most cases, working machine!y, so that the Show this year, should have
a very animated appearance. Preparations are being made to exhibit the four gold nuggets that are to be raffled, and the cushions which the ladies have undertaken to produce will also' be on exhibition. Entries are coming in fast, and altogether, this year’s show should he the best yet held in New Plymouth. Intending exhibitors are reminded that entries close on Saturday, 27th iust. Schedules on application to the Secretary, P.O. Box iU, New Plymouth.
